Hi! My name is Brenda and I have been doing OOAK fashion dolls for 9 years. I finally am confident enough in my work to start selling them.
I got started doing dolls when I was on bed rest with my son for 6 months. I needed something to do. I wanted to do something different so once I learned how to do a reroot I rerooted her hair with beads. Now about 25% of my dolls are rerooted with beads for hair. While I love doing this, it is very time consuming and I now usually do them only on request.
I do customized dolls upon request. Have a doll you can see in your mind? Tell me about her and I'll Make her up for you.
I also do personalized magnets and heat pads, but OOAK dolls are my passion. I also make OOAK clothes and shoes for Barbie.
I have recently started making OOAK bratz dolls and have been very pleased with the results.
I am a single mom of two special needs teenagers and a special needs 8 year old. I love staying home with them but it makes things tight sometimes. I decided to sell something I love doing to help bring in more income.
